The International Festival of Films on Art (Le FIFA), founded by René Rozon, is dedicated to the promotion and international dissemination of film on art and media arts. For the past four decades, it has offered an annual event in March, featuring the latest art documentaries, as well as a selection of interactive and virtual reality works. With year-round programming and activities across a broad network of cultural and educational venues, the FIFA is committed to increasing public awareness and appreciation of art, promoting the work of artists working in film, video and the visual arts, and encouraging the production and dissemination of films about art. Its 40th edition will take place from 15 to 27 March, 2022.

Toujours Dimanche by Super Sublime

Toujours Dimanche brings nature to those who can't get there, via virtual reality. We have been developing this project since 2020 in collaboration with the palliative care, long-term care, seniors' residences and research communities. The application includes multiplayer functions to combat isolation, as well as support tools for volunteers and care professionals. It is also available on VR (Oculus) and mobile platforms (i/OS, Android) to promote accompaniment, which we see as a humanizing dimension of immersive technologies. Toujours Dimanche offers high quality 360 video landscapes, but it is not a 360 movie. It's a non-linear experience of exploration, contemplation and... wandering. Toujours Dimanche is now entering the health network, as a first CISSS implements the application in its 29 CHSLDs.

UTOPIA du Studio BerkaÏ

This project consists of producing the entire immersive audiovisual component of the student fashion show of the HEC Fashion Show which will take place on March 23, 2022 at OASIS Immersion. By bringing together a 3D artist, an illustrator and motion designer, an electronic music composer as well as a creator of generative and interactive visuals, the BerkaÏ studio gave itself the crazy mission of producing in only 40 days, enough to support 1h30 of immersive show (16 paintings) and an album of 12 musics, the whole thought to highlight 12 collections of fashion designers.

Hinter Live

Hinter live is a live music web series that bridges the power of music with ecology as a new industry model that aims to set new standards in the music industry by impacting communities and generating environmental sustainability as a result of their live  performances. In 2021, the Canadian company hinter live launched a reforestation campaign with the NGO One Tree Planted, aiming to replant 8.000 trees as a result of their work that will heal the British Columbia’s forests by summer of 2022 following the losses of wildfires. The project works together with Canadian National parks to access remote and unique locations where the  beauty of the Canadian outdoors are exposed while giving back to Nature and contributing to the Support Live Music Events program from FACTOR Canada, supporting the arts and culture industries after the impact of COVID-19, joint with environmental practices into one.

DANSAVILLE de MAPP MTL + Mistaya Hemingway + Studio L’Éloi

DANSAVILLE is the result of the meeting of 3 entities, the MAPP_MTL organization, the L'ÉLOI studio and the artistic director Mistaya Hemingway. This collaboration proposes to transform the urban heritage of the neighborhoods into a grandiose public scene. 

The deployment of spectacular mobile projections stages five danced encounters between the traditional and the modern. The principle of encounter is at the heart of this project and is naturally declined at several levels of its realization. 

Both in its content, projection of 5 choreographies of about 2 minutes each of dances associating the traditional to the modern, that by its form which superimposes the use of the new digital technologies on the architectural heritage.

Théâtre augmenté du studio Gentilhomme

For this experiment, the studio Gentilhomme wanted to break the boundaries between the tangible and the virtual. Using a simple anamorphic sculpture, a shadowy character comes to life through the magnifying glass of your phone's camera. But this little creature is not very comfortable under the spotlight, even though it is his only source of life...Resolute, he goes to the lamp anyway and turns it off...The lamp link oscillates in front of our eyes in real time, splitting the boundaries between the tangible and the virtual.

With our innovations in augmented reality technology, ELYSIUM will enable creators to create their worlds in real time, and tell their rich stories in feature films in order to share these interactive experiences with the public. With our platform, we hope to create new ways to distribute and monetize AR creation for live creators to fuel the growth of this new medium.
